If you’ve never booked a companion before, I understand the knot in your stomach. I’ve met enough first-timers to know the pattern: the careful email, the slightly over-formal tone, the questions asked twice to be sure. It’s endearing, and entirely unnecessary.
Let me make it easier.
First: nerves are welcome here. You don’t have to arrive composed. I’d rather meet the real you – slightly awkward, slightly unsure – than a performance. Some of my loveliest dates began with a man apologising for being nervous. That’s the moment I soften, because it means he cares.
Second: start small if you’d like. This is precisely why I offer Coffee & Conversation. Thirty minutes, a café, no expectations beyond a good chat. It’s a chance to see whether we click – and for many gentlemen, that first easy meeting becomes the beginning of something ongoing. There’s no pressure to book more. The right dates happen naturally.
Third: tell me what you want. Or tell me you don’t know. Both are perfectly fine. I’m skilled at reading a room, but I’m better when I know whether you’d prefer me to lead or to follow, whether you want talkative or quiet, playful or tender. A single line in your enquiry – “I’d love something unhurried” or “I’m not sure what I want, and I think that’s part of it” – tells me everything.
Fourth: hygiene, manners, and honesty. These three things matter more than any technique. Arrive fresh, treat me as a person rather than a service, and be truthful about your expectations. I’ve never once minded a direct question. I’ve only ever minded being misled.
Fifth: it gets easier. The second date is always lighter than the first. By the third, I’ll know how you take your coffee and which stories make you laugh. That’s the beauty of choosing a companion rather than a transaction – the accumulation of small, remembered things.
So if you’re hovering over the enquiry box, take this as your sign. Send the message. Be yourself. And know that my favourite kind of date is the one where someone arrives nervous and leaves entirely at ease.
Ready to begin? Coffee, perhaps. I’ll bring the good conversation. 🤍
